Lough Derg Youth Pilgrimage 2009

Thirteen young pilgrims from the Diocese of Clogher have arrived on the Island to take part in the 3 day Lough Derg Pilgrimage. The lucky 13 were picked up by bus this morning in Castleblaney, Monaghan and Clones all looking fresh, excited and fired up for the challenge ahead. Most of the group of teenagers will be doing the pilgrimage for the first time and are both excited and apprehensive about what is in front of them. Just as  young people are showing great faith demonstrated by their willingness to do the pilgrimage, we have great faith in them and are assured they will come back stronger and enriched from this great expression of prayer and faith.
